The five large en-suite luxury rooms, four with Jacuzzi baths, are located on the upper floor and all have breathtaking views across the Genal river valley down to the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Morocco. There is also a sunny roof terrace with the same magnificent south-facing views. Each room is equipped with a TV (Spanish and International channels) and all are centrally heated and double-glazed. Wireless Broadband internet connection is available in all rooms.

The middle floor comprises a large salon with comfy sofas & antique furniture. This room can also be used as a breakfast room.

The split-level Restaurant is located on the ground floor. This part of the property was formerly a ‘bodega’ and the owners have retained its ancient wine-press to form a frame for the lower level of the Restaurant... it is a feature of historical interest and adds greatly to the character of the Restaurant. There is also a large vine-covered terrace for al-fresco dining (with the views of two continents!!). The Restaurant seats upto 36 on the two internal levels, whilst the exterior dining terrace also caters for upto 36 people. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The Restaurant can be accessed either from inside the hotel, or via its own separate external entrance adjacent to the al-fresco dining terrace.

At the turn of the last century the property was called Pension La Española and was very popular with travellers. The current owners have continued this tradition by creating a romantic Boutique Hotel that attracts visitors from around the world. They completely restored and refurbished the property in 2001, utilising their flair for interior design, and introduced many unusual features, that add greatly to its character, comfort and ambiance. The tasteful decor throughout is of traditional Andalusian style, including hand-made terracotta tile floors, hand-painted tiles in bathrooms; washbasins & ironwork were made by local artisans; each bedroom is decorated in a different style and colour, and many items of antique furniture have been introduced.

The condition of both the interior and exterior of the property itself is very good, with all technical installations up-to-date and maintained.
