We are located in the village of Taull which is only 6 km from the ski resort Boi-Taull Resort. The national park Aiguestortes which attracts visitors all year round with over 200 lakes is just a few kilometres away.

The hostel and house was finished in 2011 built and designed by the present owner. The hostel has 7 rooms and a capacity of 26 persons, each room. The hostel was designed with a Scandinavian style interior with wooden walls and ceilings. The floors are polished cement, each room having it’s own color. Each room has a spacious full bathroom with sleek under-the-sink cabinets, slatted walls and polished towel hangers. The hostel is equipped with under-floor heating and powered by the latest technology in renewable energy using aertermica which warms the house and hostel with a very pleasant temperature and keeps the electricity bill very low.

The attached house is directly connected to the reception which makes it very convenient and easy access. The house is about 85m2 with two bedrooms, two bathrooms with an open kitchen. It has a large living area with a wood burning fireplace and stove for cooking. The entrance to the hostel has a 240m2 of a driveway along with a flowers, raspberries, strawberries, mint etc. It also has a large storage area outside to store firewood, which we also sell.

We also have one of our restaurants that we are selling the lease and would be willing to make a package deal. The restaurant was built and designed by the same owner it opened 8 years ago and is located in the heart of the resort just 1km from the hostel. The restaurant is a lease and would have a rent of 750€ per month. This is optional, it does not have to be included with the sale of the Hotel, but it does generate another 45K annual net income.
This is a pizzeria and is only open 6 months of the year 4 during the ski season and 2 during the summer.

We would also be willing to arrange a partnership if interested. However, in the case of a possible partnership, we would not be here to help with the running of the business. This option would require a minimum of 180,000€ buy into the company.

Location:

The highest ski resort in the Pyrenees is Boí Taüll and is located only 6km from the hostel. The ski resort brings not only visitors from Catalonia, but from all over Spain. Between Christmas and New Year's is an especially busy time for the town, especially the restaurants.

We are 3hrs from barcelona, 2hrs from Toulouse, 3.5hrs from San Sebastien.

The Hostel is located right off the road to the ski resort, but you cannot hear any cars passing by.
The restaurant is located right in the heart of the resort located 1 km from the hostel.

The hostel and house are located right next to the road which goes up to the ski resort very easy access with lots of parking.
The restaurant Barocco is located 1km up from the hostel right in the ski resort where are the hotels are located. This restaurant is on the main strip next to the bakery, ski rental and shops, there is no other next to ours.

The hostel has two more empty lots right next to it if one day wanted to add two more rooms each being around 30m2.

Competition / Market:

We are the only Hostel in the entire valley and we also offer the lowest fares. So we are at an almost 100% occupancy every weekend and during the summer season along with a high turn over during the autumn months. Our annual occupation rate is at 40%.

Reasons for selling:

I am selling my properties because I have just recently married a woman from the Canary Islands and we would like to start of family and be closer to hers and move to the canary islands.
We would be willing to speak about a partnership with the hostel and restaurants.

Trading hours:

The restaurant up in the ski resort is only open 6 months of the year. The ski season which opens in December and closes in April.
The hostel almost all year round we normally close for two weeks in November and in the month of May.

Employees:
Amount of employees depends on the season, High season between the hostel and the two restaurants 7 staff altogether..
Years established:
the hostel has been running as a business since June 2012 and the restaurant since 2008

Support & training:

I am willing to give all the training support necessary for the buyer to fill they are ready to take over. It would include our web page, booking.com and all other social media that we are located in Trip Advisor, Lonely Planet and Fommers.
I would stay to train until for at least one month.
