Established BJJ and MMA academy in coastal Alicante North (Marina Alta) available for a takeover.
I entered this project in 2024 purely as a financial investor, funding the full setup, facility buildout, equipment, branding, and corporate structure.
At its peak, the gym had well over 100 active members under the main coach/business partner. Unfortunately the main coach/business partner did not want to put in the time and effort to keep the gym thriving and memberships declined, leading to the departure of that main coach/business partner. (Last summer)
Despite that, the core community held strong. BJJ classes are currently run by community coaches with EGJJF support, alongside an admin coordinator handling day-to-day operations and separate coaches for Boxing, Kickboxing and MMA. Membership is climbing back from 20 members in August and sits at ~70 to 80 paying members.
I am not in the business of owning and running a gym, but keeping it open for community sake, and understand I have to write off a big portion of the investment. The gym definitely has potential for someone with the right mindset and attitude, and sits inside its own clean, debt-free Spanish S.L., allowing for a straightforward share transfer at the Notary with the commercial lease, municipal sports license, bank accounts, and automated billing intact.
