This residential complex is situated in the southern part of the province of Alicante and currently considered to be a 5 Stars Residential Care Home in comparison to other Care Homes within the Valencia Region. It has 188 different apartments for a maximum of 245 patients, being of different categories, both for such who need a high level of care as well as for those who can maintain their own way of life to a higher degree. The apartments are distributed over 11 blocks with large terraces and gardens in between, 2 exterior swimming pools and 1 interior, gymnasium, garages, etc.
The plot where the Residential has been built is surrounded by 4 streets and is located in a calm and consolidated urban area. Within a comfortable walking distance of less than a 100 metres there are many services and amenities.
At some 250 metres distance from the Residential complex is situated in front of a hospital. Apart from the mentioned Hospital there is also a Social Security Medical Centre at some 2 km. distance and a private Hospital, some 5 km. away. The Residential complex was originally designed by a Swedish construction company, which by the end of 2002 decided to leave its activities in Spain. It's layout, design and organization is marked by very high standards similar to those in the Scandinavian countries. The construction works were carried out and finished some 2 years ago by a construction company from Alicante.
